We are a husband and wife team, Nigel being the experienced roofer and myself being the trainee/apprentice, also the paper pusher. Nigel is the one that can physically repair, maintain, re-roof and/or extend your roof. Nigel is the person to inspect your roof and let you know what you need to do with it. I do the office work from paperwork, talking to clients about their roof and making appointments for Nigel to come and see you. I am also his lackey on work sites. In 2015, we had an opportunity to be able to move from Christchurch to Nelson, so early 2016 we moved. We moved to be closer to my dad, to have a better and healthier lifestyle and a warmer better climate – the climate is proving to be challenging, to say the least. Our goal is to work around our children's lives and to live life and teach them that there is more than hard work, but with hard work comes rewards. Together we strive to do our best and help those in need in ways which we know how. Now currently; much of Nigel's work is in repair and maintenance work on already established houses. About once or twice a month he does a new roof for another company, that is when he contracts himself out. And he also does re-roofs and extensions. At a later date, we plan to expand our business into re-roofs and painting roofs.
